| Cockerell weathervane |
Beautiful and substantial 19th century iron weathervane with strong iron pole and N,S,E,W pointers. The cockerell has an S shaped rivetted strengthener and has at some time had some reddish paint. We think the cockerell and front pointer is hand forged, and the rear of the pointed has been replaced. It has very strong and sturdy fixings with attractive plates.
Size: 8'1" tall, the cockerell is 27" wide, and the directional pointer is 42" |
